Colour matching is undertaken to the manufacturers original code specification using DuPont Cromax waterbased paints there are usually more than one shade to match your cars colour code we are able to mix to the exact shade to get the closest possible match, also using our advanced techniques we are able to paint only the damaged area instead of the whole panel this limits the amount of "new" paint used keeping as much of the original finish as possible..

The Right Paint Colour
We are often asked if the paint colour will match, we understand why we are asked this question as many companies look at your paintcode phone a call paint factors and order in some paint, the paint factors will mix the standard shade and send out, now with some paint codes having up to 13 varients we can see why some cars get painted the wrong colour
We have invested a lot of time making sure that the paint we use matches you car, we use Dupont Cromax paints which are expensive paints but mean we great quality and offer a great colour match, we mix all paints in house to your extact paint colour not just your paintcode but the correct varient of that paint code. We do this using a computerized device called Dupont Cromavision, this computer device reads three seperate samples of your paint and then searches through the computerised system to get the correct varient for your car. We then mix your paint with scales connected to the computer for the best match. So you can be assured when using us we do everything we can to get the right colour for your car.
Bumper Repairs
A bumper scuff is normally caused by light collision damage either on the front or rear bumpers. A bumper Scuff usually covers a corner of a bumper but sometimes can involve other parts of the bumper. Also known as bumper scrapes and bumper scratches they are caused by light impact with either another vehicle or stationery object. The Dent Shop are able to repair the Bumper scuff without respraying the whole Bumper saving you money.
We are able to repair cars with plastic bumpers maybe your bumper has been dented. We are able to use the same techniques we use to remove dents to repair plastic bumpers this means in the majority of cases you do not need to replace your bumper. For bumpers that have just been dented, in the majority of cases we are able to repair your cars bumper without the need to fill or paint the bumper. If your bumper has been cracked we are able to plastic weld your bumper and colour match the area. If a piece of your bumper has cracked off, we have the solution to this also.

Replacement Panels
At the dent shop we like to repair as many of your cars original panels as possible, this can keep the cost of the repairs to a minimum. However there are times when we will recommend a replacement panel, this may be due to the panel being unrepairable, or it may be due to the fact it is more cost effective to you to buy a replacement panel.
We have a number of sources for replacement panels, these can come from the manufacturer if you want a perfect part, but in the majority of cases we can supply a used part from cars which have been written off in insurance claims, sometimes we can even get parts in the same colour as your can, again reducing our labour costs giving you a very cheap repair.
If we can't find a panel in your paint colour we can respray these panel to match your colour.

Smashed or Broken Wing Mirrors.
Unfortunatly it is becoming more and more common to return to your car to find your cars wing mirror broken or smashed, this may have been caused by a passing vehicle or maybe vandles in your area. Either way this leaves you with a problem. At The Dent Shop we are able to repair your cars damaged wing mirror, maybe it is just a damaged casing or perhaps the wing mirror has been completly smashed off. Using our DuPont paint scheme we can match body coloured casing or fit the requried broken part either way we can help.
